2. What data we process

Data you provide: when you fill in our contact forms or the estimate request — name, email address, phone number, your apartment address and basic information about it (e.g. number of rooms, long-term rent), and the content of your message. We don't collect financial data, documents or special-category (sensitive) data through this site.

Data collected automatically: if you accept cookies, we and our partners process technical data — IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers — for analytics and advertising measurement.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Handling your request. We use the data you submit in a form to prepare and send your estimate, answer your questions and contact you about short-term rental management. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Analytics and advertising. With your consent we use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads to understand site usage and measure advertising performance. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Recipients

We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf: our form-delivery service (delivers your submission to our inbox), Meta Platforms (advertising measurement — contact details are shared only as irreversible hashes) and Google (analytics, advertising and the address-suggestion map). We may also disclose data where required by law.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Meta and Google may also process data in the USA. Such transfers are safeguarded by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Cookies and analytics

The site uses essential cookies needed for basic functionality (e.g. remembering your language and cookie choice). With your consent we also load Google Analytics (GA4), the Meta Pixel (together with the Meta Conversions API, to which we pass only hashed contact identifiers) and Google Ads. The estimate form's address field uses Google Maps address suggestions, which loads Google scripts. These load only after you accept the notice; you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

7. Retention period

Estimate-form data is retained for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Data associated with an active client agreement is retained per the laws of the Republic of Latvia (typically up to 10 years for accounting purposes).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, object to processing, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw consent you have given. To exercise these rights, write to info@kanormanagement.com. We respond within one month under the GDPR.

9. Complaints

If you believe your data is processed in breach of data-protection rules, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the State Data Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, www.dvi.gov.lv).
